I know it has been a long time between posts for me and there very well may not be anyone reading this thing any more but I had something piss me off today and I want to get it off my chest.

I am really getting tired of being one of the millions of people that are carrying the load for the rest of the morons in the country. I am sorry that you were talked into buying a house that you can’t afford. Figure out what you can afford and then you won’t have this problem! I know that the mortgage companies screwed a lot of people around and that really sucks but there has to be some responsibility placed on the people that still took out the loans. Now with the new “economic stimulus package” there is a lot of money going to people to re-finance their high risk loans and even more money in incentives to the mortgage companies to fix these loans so people don’t loose their homes. Don’t get me wrong…I don’t want anyone to loose their home but I also don’t want to fit the bill for the people that couldn’t figure out that they couldn’t afford it and still can’t but since the government is giving money away they will get the cash and still wind up loosing their house in a few years because they still can’t figure out what they can and can’t afford!

As a middle income family, my wife and I have done well with our money so far and are able to live in a nice home, in a nice neighborhood, and drive nice cars. I am happy that we are able to live the way that we do but I am tired of being the people that do things right and all we get out of these stimulus packages is more taxes. You can cut taxes all you want but if you keep adding services and giving out money something has to give. So buy all means lets give the money to those that have already proven they don’t know what to do with it or even figure out how much it really is.

Kind of like pouring more gas on a fire just to see if the next time it burns just as bright as the previous…seems to me like you get the same results. But maybe that is stimulating…I am just tired of paying my taxes and living within my means while those that don’t continue to get bailed out.
