Well today is the last day of work before my wife and I head to the exotic island of Barbados….not sure why it is exotic but it sounds so much better that just tropical. We have never been to Barbados and we are traveling with some friends so it should be a great time. I am not sure what we are going to do while there but I can bet on some snorkeling, some hiking, some drinking, and some sun burning. Those are pretty much the stand-bys for island vacations. I will be out of contact for a week which is really the best part of the vacation…no email, no facebook, no ning, no linkedin, no phone calls, no text messages, and no twitter! I am one of those over connected people and most of the time it is pretty fun but I am looking forward to only using my iPhone for music! (and maybe as a kindle…not sure if i want to read on this vacation or not)

Don’t be concerned when you don’t hear from me for a week or so…i will be soaking in some sun with my lovely wife!
